    Meet The Faculty

    Jane Kurz, Ph.D.
    Lecturer
    Nursing

    Dr. Kurz, Ph.D., RN, joined La Salle in 2015 as chair of the undergraduate nursing program, bringing leadership experience from Temple University. A dedicated educator, she has taught at multiple institutions and secured grants to support nursing students. Her research, funded by organizations like HRSA and the Philadelphia Corporation on Aging, explores topics including end-of-life education, medical-surgical nursing, and organ donation. An active reviewer for leading nursing journals, she has also contributed internationally, supporting nursing role expansion in Ukraine. Dr. Kurz serves on the Board of the Second Wind National Lung Transplant Association and is a member of ANA, DNA, and Sigma Theta Tau.
